Automatic Management Of Hierarchical Menus

FlexCMP automatically manages navigation menus and internal site links. The eventual menus reorganisation can be done in a few simple steps. You don't need to interfere with the pages involved as they are automatically adjusted to suit the new structure. Menus are hierarchical and have no nesting limitations (however we do not recommended using more than four levels for usability).
Each page can be inserted into one or more navigation menus (as well as being directly linked to every page) to offer navigation mechanisms to more levels, according to the different paradigms (matrix navigation).
A page can be moved around as often as you like inside the site without generating any dead links: FlexCMP always guarantees page access by updating the references, when necessary, inside the site.
The automatic management of hierarchical menus is integrated with the generation of breadcrumb trails and site maps, this reduces the administrative work of running the site to a minimum. The administrative interface of managing the navigation menus is accessible: it can therefore be used even without mouse devices or the support of JavaScript or other programming languages and can also be used with screen readers for the visually impaired.

Online forms builder

You can define customized Data-entry Forms without any programming. The editors can enter content in a structured form that is fully customizable from the user interface - any coding needed. You can choose from a large variety of field types, including textbox, check box,  list,  radio buttons, and so on ...
And more, you can also fully customize the layout of the data-entry form.  Every field has validation controls & messages.

FlexCMP's visual editor includes an automatic tool for the creation of on-line forms. An unlimited number of forms can be activated, and even integrated into pages of content. Forms can contain all the types of fields envisaged for XHTML (normal text field, multiple-line text field, otion check , drop-down menu, selections check, etc.). To create a form with FlexCMP you don't need any special skills in web design or programming.

You can also create data collection email automatically, which can always be further customised as needs arise. With the same form you can send many email messages, all with different content, to different addressees: the most frequent use entails sending a message with the supplied data to an administrative address and then sending a thank you message to the email address supplied by the person who filled out the form. FlexCMP also manages the validation of form fields, with the management of customised error messages which can also be differentiated by language. The information can also be archived in XML format or on the database.

Dynamic Events Calendar

You can now create one or more events calendars which can be personalised in terms of both layout and position within the site. Each calendar can refer to one or more categories of events, allowing you to create both general calendars as well as specific calendars for particular areas of the site. The extraction of the events which are visualised in the calendars is connected to the classification of information on more than one information dominion (channel). All calendars are completely managed server-side, guaranteeing their usability by all users.

Controlling Internal and External Links

FlexCMP has an integrated analysis tool which produces a helpful summary report which allows you to quickly control all the links present in the site. This means you can highlight the eventual dead links on external sites, indicated by an HTTP error code. Links to internal pages are always independent of the page being moved around different navigation menus: to generate a dead link on an internal page you have to physically cancel the page itself. A tool used to control links allows you to check the significance of the texts contained in those links, as requested by Accessibility rules.
