The Municipality of Venice chose FlexCMP Enterprise 10 to create its new institutional website as well as other spider sites. The project, which is proof of FlexCMP's usability and accessibility, focuses particular attention on the coordination of different web editing teams, some long distance, in the creation and sharing of common information produced by contributors, taking full advantage of the advanced Workflow tool and the sharing of information between different portals without duplicating content offered by FlexCMP. Site accessibility is also favoured by a reorganisation of the features and the content which, thanks to the division of the project into different areas, is more immediate and user friendly. To make the exchange of information easier, the municipality is planning to extend its range of services. They will create user communities, a newsletter service, and a forum where citizens can communicate with the administration and receive answers to their questions. The site will be navigable in both Italian and English.
