eContent Award 2008

The FlexCMP created portal for the Municipality of Naples won the 2008 eContent Award. The accessible web portal for the municipality of Naples won the 2008 econtent Award for Best Digital Content (eGovernment section). The ceremony was held in Rome on Wednesday the 3rd of December. During this ceremony the accessible web portal for the municipality of Naples www.comune.napoli.it, created with the FlexCMP accessible platform, was awarded a prize in the eGovernment section. The task of selecting the winners was assigned to an international jury composed of numerous experts whose talents ranged from specialised to interdisciplinary sectors. This fantastic achievement was the result of the Municipality's ongoing commitment to accessibility and usability. The winners of each category will now go forward to officially represent Italy at the prestigious World Summit Award 2009.
