FlexCMP will present the management of services based on CNS/CRS authentication
This is a platform innovation for Flex CMP accessible web sites, the most used accessible CMS in Italian public administrations. This innovation allows you to manage services which have a CNIPA approved authentication based on CNS/CRS. The new functions, which are the result of a partnership with Telvox, will be premiered at EuroPA 2008.
At the 8th edition of EuroPA, Idea Futura will present the management of services which have a CNIPA approved authentication based on National Service Cards (CNS) or Regional Service Cards (CRS), which have now been integrated into FlexCMP, the accessible CMS chosen by dozens of local and central public administrations for their institutional portals.
The new FlexCMP functions are the result of a partnership with Telvox (www.telvox.com), which is a member of the SCAI Group and boasts many years of experience in the fields of digital signatures and the management of Smart Card technology.
The new CNS/CRS authentication services, which are an additional function with respect to the FlexCMP platform standard authentication, have an extremely limited impact on the clients system: all you need is a smart card reader and a common web browser which is enabled with the execution of an Applet Java.
Details (name, surname, national insurance number ...) obtained when a service is authenticated are immediately usable on the server to access databases, applications and accessible E Government solutions.
The service allows you to choose between two security levels:
Strong Authentication: requires the insertion of a PIN number to access the authentication key and extract the details of the holder of the digitally certified CNS.
Simple Authentication: extracts details of the holder of the digitally certified CNS.
