Automatic Analysis of Text Legibility

The usability and understandability of an internet site is directly connected to the understandability of the text it contains. The Gulpease Index is a legibility index of a text which was developed by an analysis of the Italian language by the research group known as GULP (Pedagogic Linguistic University Group) which is located at the Science Seminary of the University of Education in Rome, La Sapienza. FlexCMP has an integrated analysis tool which produces a helpful summary report that allows you to quickly control the Gulpaese legibility index of all the text contained in the site. At the moment, the Gulpease index can only be applied to text written in Italian.
