Separating Presentation And Content

FlexCMP carries outs the complete separation of presentation and content.

Author inserted content is memorised in XML, thereby preserving the semantic meaning of every individual element on the page.
The navigation and organising mechanisms of the pages are completely separated from the page content, thus allowing you to reorganise and move the page inside the site without creating any problems to the content itself or having to modify the existing pages.

Pages served by the browser are obtained by dynamically assembling the content, navigation mechanisms, graphic models (or template) of the page, and eventual additional dynamic elements.

The page-template graphic association can be either set at the level of individual pages or for large numbers of pages with a unique command, simplifying the operation of reorganising and restyling entire sections.

The look of the page can be defined through CSS personalisation.
