Integrated Site Analysis Tools

FlexCMP has numerous integrated site analysis and verification tools. These ensure that clients are not forced to devote another part of their budget to buy test software, and guarantee that the site maintains a high level of accessibility and quality over time.

Although FlexCMP produces automatic valid code, complex sites can have content which has non-conformities. For example, a non-conformity might present itself in the template because it could have been created and modified by the site manager who could have unwittingly introduced some errors. Other non-conformities in the code might be found in the application section of the site, where programmers might have made some mistakes. A code analysis and verification tool is available to automatically check all the pages in the site periodically (both those created with FlexCMP and those imported or produced by applications). Such a tool can use the Tidy validator or contact the W3C validator directly. A helpful summary report allows you to quickly identify eventual anomalies.

Requirement 3 of the Technical Check states that you must " Provide a text equivalent for every non-text object on a page and ensure that when the non-text content of an object changes dynamically its equivalents are also updated. The text equivalent of a non-text object must be able to perform the function performed by the object in that specific context. "
 
FlexCMP has an integrated analysis tool which, through a helpful summary report, allows you to quickly control all the images and multimedia content and to evaluate, with respect to the context, the significance of the textual description inserted.

Requirement 19 of the Technical Check states that you must " Clearly identify the target of each link using text that is meaningful even when read out of context or associate alternative texts to the links that in turn explain the target."
