Accessible Administrative Interface

In accordance with Law 4/2004 all internet applications must respect the accessibility requirements specified in Attachment A (Technical Check). This means that the administrative interface (back-office) of any application, if it is created with web technology, must conform to accessibility requirements. FlexCMP is the first CMS to have created an accessible administrative interface. During the PA FORUM in 2005 (held in Rome from the 10th-14th May 2005) a version of FlexCMP with an accessible administrative interface was presented to an appreciative audience of accessibility experts and visually handicapped for the first time in Italy. The administrative area of FlexCMP even functions without JavaScript, Java, ActiveX, or any type of plug-in. The administrative area of FlexCMP is actually capable of "degrading" to a version which is completely based on form and is even usable with aids (screen reader) for the visually handicapped.
