The repository allows you to insert elements into an archive which can be used to create content. This module is suggested for large sites and portals which need to share a large amount of documents and so need an automatic classification mechanism, ordering and centralised updates. This module allows you to archive and use commonly used objects like links, photos, documents and page fragments (portions of a page made up of a mix of one, or more, basic objects), in a centralised way. Every element inserted into the library can be catalogued according to its position in one, or more thematic channels, and can be classified hierarchically using the user's personalisation modality. It is possible to insert individual elements from the library into a web page (e.g. a particular document or photo) or an entire class/category of elements (like all the documents which refer to a particular activity). Every element uploaded to the library is physically present in one copy, and is automatically shown in all the pages which contain a reference to that object. Eventual modifications to an object located in the library automatically generate an update in all the pages of the site which use that object, without the need for the user to make an intervention. The documents, or the other elements inserted in the library, can be published openly, or in a Reserved Area, which can be accessed by a password via integration with the Community Module.
