Scheduled Publishing

FlexCMP allows to schedule contents and pages publishing, defining in advance times for them to appear in pages extractors.
This functionality allow to system administrator scheduling contents publishing, then to plan and optimize jobs.

Contents Locking

More than one administrator user can edit and type texts, contents and pages. FLEXCMP provides a complete and efficient content locking system to avoid intereferences between different authors.
FlexCMP carries out administrative locking on pages and navigation menus. When a user begins to modify a document, it is put in a locking state until the modifications have been completed. No other user can modify the document while it is locked. When other users try to access a page which is being modified, a message appears telling them that the page is locked and who is carrying out the modifications at that moment.

Workflow for content review and approval

FlexCMP includes a powerful workflow mechanism which, when united to the flexible management of users, groups and permits (and versioning), offers multiple operative solutions which can be configured to the special organisational needs of the client. You can also subordinate the publication of every single page to supervisor approved specifications. Until a new approval has been given, only the last version approved remains visible to the public. Obviously, it is possible to generate previews of both the published page and the one awaiting approval. It is always possible to know when a page was created and modified, and by whom.

Versioning

FlexCMP manages the versioning of every page, preserving copies of previous page versions as well as the information regarding modifications made to successive versions of the page, and who made them. The generation of versions is carried out automatically every time you save a page (only when modifications have been made to the page obviously: saving when no modification has been made does not generate a new version of the page). You can also restore any version of any page you might need, all the while preserving those created before, and after. Versioning can be configured to preserve a determined number of versions of every page.

Multilanguage Management

FlexCMP is an advanced content management system which is able to manage portals and virtual communities in more than one language. The Multilingual Module allows you to have the same site in various different languages, and gives you the possibility of passing from one language to another in every page without having to translate the entire site into each individual language.
